The beauty of creative expansion is that it’s all about you, and the wonderful work you are channeling. Your vision is real. It’s an intimate connection with the creative power of the Universe. Whether it’s music, or visual art, or writing, or healing. You are drawing it down from a place of infinite creativity, in a way that is unique to you. The power of the Universe, channeled through female creativity, can heal the whole world.

Every day you will have a new exercise to play with. There are three ways to find it.

You can do the exercises as often as you like, and be creative with variations. If the exercise asks you to connect with a song, also try the exercise with a favorite painting or poem. The the best time to do the exercise is after you have done the daily guided meditation (links below). You will be in a state of deep relaxation and your mind and heart will be in coherence. .

If you don’t have time to do both at once, just do this quick heart/mind coherence exercise .

EFT Tapping

We are on a journey to promote more peaceful, harmonious, encouraging thoughts that will deepen your connection with the heart of your creativity. Old thoughts might sneak back in that don’t match where you want to be in your mind. We’re going to use EFT Tapping to smack those down. Because your creativity is sacred and precious.

Examples of those kinds of unhelpful thoughts could be, “I’ll never be successful” or “this is too overwhelming”. Those thoughts come from outside conditioning, not the heart of your creativity. Critical or discouraging thoughts often come from someone else’s voice, not from your highest level of consciousness. It’s normal to have them.

But you are ready with this handy tool to stop them in their tracks. If you’re not familiar with EFT tapping, please see a demonstration and explanation at the link below called “EFT Demonstration”.   • Think of a song you have loved for a long time. A song that really moves you in a good way. It could be one you wrote yourself, or someone else’s.

    Feel into it with your eyes closed. Imagine the song inside your body, inhabiting every cell, flowing through your breath. If you listen on YouTube, try listening with it slowed down, and really catch all aspects of it that make it so wonderful to you.

    After listening to it out loud, play it in your head and get a sense of it. As if it's a tapestry of elements woven together to display the feeling you have when you're listening to the song. Imagine the texture of the song coming through your breath as you inhale and exhale.

    ∞ Feel it in your body.

    ∞ Allow the frequencies of the song to resonate through you.

    ∞ See if you can tune into the intentions of the writer.

    ∞ Conjure up your own response to that song, like a homage and appreciation, whether it’s another song, or a written piece or a visual representation of your impressions.

    ∞ Feel appreciation for yourself for having such a strong resonance with a powerful piece of creation.

    ∞ Please write down any thoughts.

    Repeat this exercise as often as you like with different art forms that inspire you.

  • Sit comfortably in a familiar place with your feet on the floor if possible. Look all around you carefully and then close your eyes.

    Become really aware of the sensory factors of your surroundings. Keeping your eyes closed, "see" your surroundings as clearly as if your eyes were open.

    Feel very present there, awake and alert. What can you hear? What can you smell? When you really feel like you can “see” the room, choose one item in front of you, like a chair, or a smaller object you can pick up in your mind.

    Imagine running your hands over the object, and feel its surface, its weight, the way it smells and notice whether the color or texture of it affects you.

    ∞ As far as you know, does the object have a smell, a history?

    ∞ If it's yours, who owned it before you did?

    ∞ If it's new, what is its material history? Did its main material grow from the ground? From a plant that came from a seed of another plant, and that from a plant before it? Was it made from the wood of a tree? Bamboo? Cotton? If it's glass, can you sense the history in the sand that was melted to form the glass?

    ∞ See if you can get as much as possible from imagining feeling the object, and then open your eyes, and write down any impressions you might have received.

    This brief exercise expands your inner vision and your connection with, and appreciation for, the world around you.

  • Walk around a room at home and greet all the things in the room like dear friends. Imagine they showed up to just serve you. They want to be in your presence.

    For example, if you are in your bathroom, you might feel the texture of a towel, run your hands over it and thank it for its reliable service.

    ∞ Appreciate its softness
    ∞ Admire its color
    ∞ Look at every little loop in the weave of it
    ∞ Consider how long it took to create the process that could make this useful, absorbent fabric.

    That’s just one example. Furniture is really lovely to appreciate if you are in another room of your house, or ceramics, curtains. It feels good to be sensually aware of the things around you and to appreciate their form, and how they reflect light and sound. You may feel self-conscious at first, but this is all part of the process of increasing your awareness and appreciation of life, which is, after all, a reflection of your magical self.   • Day Four’s exercise is to listen to the “Crystal Temple” meditation, and write down or draw/paint/perform your impressions of how you see your core essence after you have done the exercise. There is a link to the meditation audio file above, underneath the “Infinite Flow” Meditation.

  • Listen to the guided meditation “The Breakthrough” on Saturday morning, make any notes or observations and please bring them to the discussion salon.

  • When you notice your mind slipping into discouraging thoughts…

    Top of head: There’s some crappy old thinking!

    Eyebrow: I’m going to stop that thinking right now!

    Side of eye: I know it’s safe to expand into my fullest self

    Under eye: It’s safe for me to be visible with my beautiful work

    Under nose: I am manifesting the highest possible version of myself.

    Under lip: I am the embodiment of conscious creativity.

    Collarbone (underneath): I am growing into the best possible manifestation of myself for this stage of my journey

    Under arm: And I don’t need to know right now exactly what that looks like

    You can repeat this as many times as you want to until the limiting thoughts have gone away. The more we do it, the stronger it becomes. We will do some group tapping in the online Salon on Saturday May 14th at 11:00am US Pacific Time.
